Walk within the east Paris

In the east of Paris, close to place de la Nation, some beautiful discoveries await those enjoying a stroll, with Père Lachaise, and the neighbourhoods of Bastille and Bercy to enjoy.

The Père Lachaise cemetery

Walk up boulevard de Charonne then boulevard de Ménilmontant. You will find yourself in front of Père Lachaise cemetery. Via this entrance, you will soon be at the grave of Jim Morrison (probably the most visited grave of the cemetery). Stroll through the cemetery and discover the graves of Edith Piaf and Oscar Wilde.

Discover both parks of the east Paris.

Leave the same way you came in and take rue de la Roquette, which takes you to place de la Bastille. When you arrive at 44-46 rue Lyon, take the steps and set off to explore the coulée verte.

Walk down to the Reuilly gardens, cross place Eugène Thomas then take rue de Charenton until you reach rue Proudhon. This street will take you to the Parc de Bercy. On your left, go and explore Bercy Village.

Walking: 7 km - About 1 hour 30 minutes
